toi et moi - "L'Univers Parallele" (LP, Vinyl)

"L'univers parallèle" is the name of the new album by the Cologne-based German-French duo toi et moi. And this parallel universe is full of infectious joie de vivre. toi et moi are Julia Klomf ass and Raphael Hansen, who have been touring Germany for many years with their concerts as a duo or band with double bass and drums.

With their «Nouvelle Chanson», sung in French, combined with modern and traditional singer-songwriter elements, they play on a stage full of instruments such as accordion, piano, musical saw, mandolin, guitar and trumpet.

In other words: they have dedicated themselves to music with heart and soul. And this can be heard on their new, second regular studio album in a more gripping and multifaceted way than ever before. From the rhythmic, indie-pop title track, to more traditional, quieter chansons, to the previously released, Latin music-influenced "vas-y Sophie", a collaboration with Jenny And The Mexicats, which made it to number 1 in the French Pop Charts in their Mexican homeland, toi et moi span a wide range that nevertheless always retains its own character through their voices and musicality.
