With the double album "Stabil Nerven - Live an der Mosel", Köster & Hocker not only document the legendary concerts in Haus Waldfrieden. Unfortunately, it is also the last album with Gerd Köster's congenial musical partner Frank Hocker, who died completely unexpectedly in mid-October 2023. Gerd Köster writes: "When I heard about Frank's death, the album had just been mixed. Frank was still involved in the selection and compilation of the songs." This album now captures the special atmosphere of the always special, pleasurable and intense concerts on the Mosel. At the same time, it is the last recordings with Frank Hocker that keep the last joint concert program alive. Gerd Köster again: We all miss him. Frank is no longer here, but our babies, i.e. songs, have a right to live on." This applies to future live concerts, which will take place in a new line-up with most of the musicians involved in these recordings. And of course for this album, which brings together popular songs from almost 45 years of shared musical history as well as rare and long-unheard songs.
