This is the first part of the extensive exhibition of Köster & Hocker’s work.
This is the first part of the extensive retrospective of Köster & Hocker's work. On this album - as well as on its twin "Rest of II" - there are 17 unpublished titles and other rarities as well as hits in unusual guise from the entire work of Köster & Hocker. The artists open their treasure chest and release recordings from the Arsch huh concerts in 1992 on the Chlodwigplatz (100,000 spectators) and in 2012 on the Deutzer Werft (70,000 spectators). Fans can also look forward to recordings with The Piano has been drinking from the legendary farewell concert in the E-Werk in 1993, live recordings from the Cologne Philharmonic, the Cologne University of Music, the legendary Küppers Klub, the Tanzbrunnen Cologne, the Cologne Schauspielhaus as well as joint recordings with Kasalla, LSE, Hans Süper, Arno Steffen and Tommy Engel and many other small masterpieces. The cover design was done by Jürgen Kuhl (Blütenträume), probably the best and most famous counterfeiter in Europe of all time. Even the FBI called his dollar bills (worth 16.5 million!!!) masterpieces and the Federal Criminal Police Office classified them as "frighteningly perfect". During the trial, the presiding judge called him an "extraordinary graphic artist". Who could be better suited to contribute to the visual success of "Rest of Köster und Hocker I + II" than Jürgen Kuhl from Cologne? Use your illusion!
