From folk to pop and rock to ballads, Heuser draws on many influences. Those who like him may also hear musical and lyrical role models such as Wolfgang Niedecken and Hans Süper here and there.
The songs are about everyday observations, the question of how one approaches life and what is important to one, children and of course love. There is also an ode to the Cologne comedian and musician legend Hans Süper.
With "Zick es Jlöck", Björn Heuser has created an outstanding Cologne singer-songwriter album. His first studio album in 5 years, recorded with his great band and produced by his long-time musical partner Christian Kock.
